Hello again! The weather is getting drier and sunnier, if not necessarily much warmer! But we marked the first day of Spring by talking about the seasons, and weather, and I showed our students photos of crocuses growing up through the snow. We have continued learning about food groups this week. We are also wrapping up our unit on sea creatures. Miss Rachel has continued teaching about Lent and bringing students to our atrium. They have also discussed the significance of Easter.
Next month, Montessori will learn about (and do our best to incubate and hatch) chicken eggs. We will commemorate Earth Day by learning about our beautiful Earth (including land and water forms). We will discover ways we can protect our planet, and each child will make their own recycled paper. Thank you for those who read and signed their child's report cards, and who requested and attended conferences. We appreciate when parents partner with us to give their children the best education possible! In Music class, Mr. Delagrange is teaching us a beautiful song for our Spring Concert, which will be held on June 1, at 7 pm. More information will come regarding this event. Next week, our Spring Break begins on March 29. School resumes on April 9. Enjoy!
